Flock
Flock is a cooperative traversal and collecting game where you take on the role of a flying shepherd. To play you move around the world tending to your unique herd of flying creatures. It sounds complicated but really it's just exploring a big wild place on the back of a bird. There's plenty to discover and new creatures to adopt, or you can just spend time hanging out with your friends.

PLAY STYLE
You start with just a small herd of hover-sheep, but as you nurture them with fresh pastures you soon discover new creatures to entice to join your flock. Each one only comes out at certain times of day and in certain conditions. They are each a strange combination of fish, birds, snakes and other animals. With a bit of skill, you can charm them to join your flock.
As you progress and your flock grows, they generate wool that you can shear to make hats, cardigans and even socks. In this way, you work with other players to discover new species and generally explore the land together.
The result is a wild playground filled with creatures to meet and tame. You can set about collecting the biggest flock, or you can just take your time and enjoy flying around without the need to achieve anything.

Set time limits
Set screen time boundaries to get your child moving regularly and to give their eyes a break. Find options available through parental controls available on the console or in-game.
Manage online interactions
Multiplayer games can pose additional contact risks from both people the child knows and doesn't know, commonly in the form of bullying or hate. Talk about what positive behaviour looks like and review in-game settings and console parental controls to keep them safe.
Highlight safety features
For games where your child might interact with others online, make sure you review tools like report and block to help them stay safe.

Getting around is easier than in other games as the elevation is dealt with automatically. There are still some detailed controls and challenges to get another creature to join your flock.
