Legend Of The Skyfish
Legend Of The Skyfish is a puzzle exploration game where you head into a dangerous land, hopping from island to island, solving puzzles and battling enemies. Each arcade-style level is a chance to put your unusual weapon to use - for fighting but also for swinging around and moving things. It's a highly polished experience that brings Zelda adventuring to mobile platforms.

PLAY STYLE
Your aim is to survive the traps and destroy the main monster statue at the end of the stage. You use a fishing rod as your weapon and as a grappling hook to jump and pull yourself between islands. You can also pull enemies towards you to fight or throw them towards the spikes or traps. You progress through the game, island by island and can upgrade your character with more hearts.
Along with the simple combat, you need to trigger buttons and move blocks around to open new ways forward or to open a gate to the next area. Within each level, you can find chests that contain items and new rods with stronger or faster abilities. The second game adds more quests to the challenge, like finding lost warriors, that help you progress. You collect gems and loot from the enemies you defeat to craft upgrades for your fishing rod.
The Legend Of The Skyfish series of games is unique not only because of the multipurpose fishing rod weapon but the quality of visuals, music and some of the best mission guidance and storytelling seen in these kinds of games. It has simple moving and aiming controls via the touch screen on mobile versions and a compelling adventure story which makes it suitable for both younger children and adults to play.

The puzzles start simple and the game carefully leads you through each challenge. You do need some resilience to keep going when travelling to distant locations, but it's always fun to fight enemies and solve puzzles along the way.
