Funko Fusion
Funko Fusion is an action-adventure game where you play popular movie and TV franchise heroes in a universe that combines their worlds. Play is similar to the Lego video games, where you explore, fight and solve simple puzzles tied to the abilities of specific characters. However, it stands out for taking things in a more challenging and mature direction - blood, guns and decapitation from many films and TV shows that a younger-rated game wouldn't include.

PLAY STYLE
Funko Fusion touts its fun as a festival of fandom. It offers over 20 different worlds and characters from Universal Pictures, including not only child-friendly Jurassic Park, Masters of the Universe, Battlestar Galactica and Back to the Future but also more adult, like Child's Play, The Umbrella Academy, The Walking Dead, JAWS, The Thing and Chucky. Your mission is to stop Eddy from corrupting the different worlds through different themed stages.
You play in an open world inspired by the different films. These are filled with references and missions based on their popular characters. To progress you work your way through the destructible environments, collecting items to unlock more characters with unique weapons and special moves.
The result is a chance to revisit iconic worlds and characters from your favourite franchises in a fun and irreverent game. The attention to detail, more mature films and the higher bar of exploration and challenge make it perfect for older teenagers.

Consider time investment
Adventure games often take a long time to finish. Encourage regular breaks to get moving, rest their eyes and balance their time with other activities.
Nurture key skills
Many adventure games incorporate problem solving and critical thinking, important skills for school, work and more offline. Talk to them about their game to see how it supports them and their goals.
Build resilience
Encourage children to take risks with their characters in-game to safely learn potential consequences. Talk about what might happen outside of the game and why it's important to keep those risks in-game only. While playing, encourage them to think about innovative risks their character can take.
Skill level
Suggested by Family Gaming Database
You need to explore the game world, deal with shooting and solve some light puzzles where it's key to have the right character. Unlike Lego games, if you die in the game too much you can fail the level. The combat can be challenging and overwhelming and you need to be able to shoot accurately.
Content rating
Rated PEGI 16 for Violence. Funko Fusion contains gross violence to fantasy characters, with all characters being depictions of ‘Funko Pop’ figurines. In levels which take place in the world of JAWS, The Thing, and Hot Fuzz, for example, cutscenes contain strong blood effects with decapitation and mutilation occurring to characters. This game contains censored and/or abbreviated strong language such as ‘WTF’, ‘F**k’ and ‘S*&t’. There are moderate horror sequences that occur during some parts of the game, since the game features levels based on horror films and games.
